Our mission at SMNS is to enrich the lives of children and families with a fun, developmentally appropriate preschool experience that nurtures and celebrates the whole child - mind, body and soul. Each child’s individuality is taken into consideration with the goal of responding to and enhancing his/her unique potential. St. Mark’s Nursery School was established in 1991. It is owned and operated by St. Mark’s Episcopal Parish, governed by its own Board of Directors, and licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Health Services. It is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools.
